Scenario
Eve (Odessa Young), a widow living in the 19th century, is forced to make an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her remote fishing station in the midst of a particularly harsh winter. Eve and her team must choose whether to save the shipwrecked victim or survive the winter with the last remaining food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and feeling guilty, the residents struggle with a growing sense of fear and begin to believe that they are all being punished for their choices.
